Glock used the 2025 SHOT Show to launch several new products, according to Glock's press release. The headline items are a 9mm pistol package with a factory-installed Aimpoint COA optic, a new pistol light called the GTL II, and the Performance Trigger expanded to two new calibers.
What Was Announced
The Glock x Aimpoint package is now on store shelves in limited quantities. Glock says the Aimpoint COA optic is sold only as part of this package and is not available separately at this time. The optic is installed at the factory using Aimpoint's new A-CUT interface. Glock also introduced the GTL II tactical light and added .40 caliber and .22 LR versions of the GLOCK Performance Trigger to its GLOCK+ accessory line.
Key Details
- Aimpoint package pistols: G43X, G48, G19 Gen5, G47, and G45, all in 9mm
- Where to find it: Check a local dealer or search inventory at GLOCKxAimpoint.com
- GTL II light output: About 600 lumens and about 11,100 candela
- GTL II fit: Standard frame Glock pistols with a Glock rail. It does not fit SLIMLINE models.
- GTL II controls: Interchangeable ambidextrous control elements offer two light control options
- GTL II design: Aluminum housing with Glock-style serrations, sized to match the G19/G45 slide
- Performance Trigger calibers: .40 caliber and .22 LR, joining the existing lineup
- Gen4 compatibility note: 9mm and .40 caliber Performance Triggers ship with a Gen5 slide cover plate. Gen4 models need that plate swapped in for compatibility and proper function. The G44 uses its standard cover plate.
What It Means for Gun Owners
The Aimpoint package is a complete setup for buyers who want an optic-ready Glock without buying the sight separately, though supply is limited and the optic can't be bought on its own. Owners of Gen4 pistols who want the new 9mm or .40 Performance Trigger should plan on the slide cover plate swap. The GTL II adds a light option for standard-frame Glocks, but Slimline owners are out of luck.
Bottom Line
Glock's SHOT Show lineup is a mix of a limited optic bundle, a new light, and wider Performance Trigger availability. The Aimpoint package is the one to watch if you want one in stock, since Glock is only releasing it in limited quantities.
