What It Means for Gun Owners
The ELG furniture brings modern ergonomic features to the classic lever-action platform. The reinforced polymer construction handles weather without degradation, while the included spacer and cheek riser kits let shooters dial in fit and sight picture without aftermarket purchases. The threaded barrel opens the door to muzzle device options, and the integrated round storage is a practical touch for field use.
The Picatinny rail gives shooters flexibility between traditional open sights and modern optics, both of which the system is designed to handle.
Bottom Line
Marlin's partnership with Magpul adds a modern accessory package to a traditional rifle design. For owners of .45-70 lever guns who want contemporary stock ergonomics and attachment options, this represents an out-of-the-box solution without requiring separate purchases.
