Springfield Armory has launched Gear Pac, a bundle offered with several of its most popular handguns. The package is listed at an added retail value of up to $375. Details are in the Springfield Armory's press release.
What Was Announced
Gear Pac is a bundle that combines a Springfield pistol with an optic, spare magazines, and a carry bag. The bundles are permanent catalog offerings, so buyers do not need to submit a rebate or redemption form to get the included items.
Key Details
- Eligible models: Hellcat, Echelon, 1911, and 1911 DS series handguns
- Optic: Viridian RFX11 green dot sight, factory-installed and mounted, with an MSRP of $229.99
- Magazines: Four total
- Bag: Premium heavy-duty nylon zippered pistol case with storage compartments for the gun and accessories
- Stated retail value: Up to $375
- Redemption: None required
The RFX11 is rated IPX4 water-resistant and has a high-strength polymer housing. It includes Instant-On activation, an ambient light sensor, and auto shut-off. The release says the sight runs up to 30,000 hours on the included CR2032 battery.
What It Means for Gun Owners
For buyers who already want an optics-ready Springfield pistol, Gear Pac puts a red dot-style sight, spare magazines, and a bag into one purchase. Shoppers comparing these handguns should check the bundle's contents against what they would otherwise buy separately. The release gives no price for the bundle itself, only the up-to-$375 value of the included items.
Bottom Line
Gear Pac is a straightforward bundle: a supported Springfield handgun, a mounted Viridian RFX11, four magazines, and a carry case. More information is available at gearpac.com.
