Glock 19 Gen5

The Glock 19 is the most popular pistol in the United States by virtually every metric — police departments, military units, civilian purchases, and competition registrations. Introduced in 1988 as a compact version of the G17, it achieves a near-perfect balance between capacity (15+1), concealability (4" barrel), and shootability that no other pistol has matched in sustained popularity over four decades.

The Gen5 version receives the same improvements as the G17 Gen5 including the Marksman Barrel, ambidextrous controls, and Glock Rough Texture (GRT) frame. The MOS variant adds direct optic mounting. Among professional firearms instructors, it is by far the most commonly recommended first handgun purchase — its size works for EDC, home defense, competition, and training.
