Bergara has shared a review of its B14 Squared Crest Carbon rifle, written by Patrick at The Firearm Blog. The company's Bergara's press release summarizes the review and links to the full write-up.
What Was Announced
Bergara is not launching a new model here. The post points to an independent review of the existing B14 Squared Crest Carbon, which The Firearm Blog covered in detail. The reviewer praised the rifle's design and performance.
Key Details
- Barrel: Lightweight carbon fiber, which the review credits with improving accuracy and handling.
- Stock: Ergonomic carbon fiber, with an adjustable trigger.
- Accuracy: The review reports sub-MOA accuracy.
- Calibers: Offered from .22-250 up to 7PRC.
What It Means for Gun Owners
A light carbon rifle with a wide caliber range is aimed at hunters and precision shooters. The sub-MOA figure comes from the reviewer, not from independent testing by DownRange, so treat it as the reviewer's result. Anyone interested should read the full review for the test conditions and ammunition used.
Bottom Line
The review makes a favorable case for the B14 Squared Crest Carbon. Buyers who want a lightweight carbon rifle with a range of chamberings should compare it against other options in their caliber and budget.
