What It Means for Gun Owners
The Gunny Challenge is a shoot-off among the top finishers of GSSF matches. To qualify, a shooter must be a Matchmeister, meaning the overall winner of a GSSF match with the best time across all qualifying divisions. Qualifiers are issued a Glock pistol and ammunition for a surprise course. The challenge began in 2005 and honors Gunnery Sergeant R. Lee Ermey, known as "The Gunny."
Bottom Line
Brad Balsley won the overall Annual Shoot and the 2024 Gunny Challenge, his third straight title in the challenge. Brian Giovannini finished second in the challenge. Shooters interested in entering a GSSF match can find sign-up information at GSSF.pro.
