Henry Repeating Arms has added two new lever-action families to its catalog, and both are shipping now through authorized Henry dealers. Details are in Henry Repeating Arms's press release.

What Was Announced

Henry is introducing the Protector Carbine, a compact model with a threaded muzzle for use with a suppressor, and the Provider Rifle, a dedicated hunting rifle without threading. Both feature pistol-grip stocks, and both are built on Henry's existing lever-action lineup of American-made rifles, shotguns, and revolvers.

What It Means for Gun Owners

The split is clear. The Protector Carbine is aimed at owners who want a shorter, handier rifle that can take a suppressor. The Provider Rifle is aimed at hunters who want a longer tube magazine and do not need threading. Both families give buyers the pistol-grip ergonomics Henry is emphasizing, and both come in the same set of calibers, so the choice comes down to barrel length, threading, and magazine capacity.

Bottom Line

If you already run a Henry lever action, these models add configuration options rather than new platform changes. Check with an authorized dealer for current stock and pricing.
