Henry Repeating Arms has announced a members-only rifle for the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS), according to Henry Repeating Arms's press release. Henry will donate part of the proceeds from each sale to SASS.
What Was Announced
Henry is offering an engraved rifle to SASS members, with a custom serial number that matches each buyer's SASS member number. The company says the money from every sale supports SASS's work promoting Cowboy Action Shooting. Founder and CEO Anthony Imperato said Henry has long backed shooting sports heritage groups that bring in new shooters.
SASS describes itself as the governing body for Cowboy Action Shooting, with more than 100,000 members in all 50 states and over 400 affiliated clubs. Competitors dress in period-correct late 19th-century clothing and shoot timed stages with lever-action rifles, shotguns, and revolvers.
