Henry Repeating Arms has released a set of commemorative rifles honoring the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Border Patrol, which Congress established in 1924. The rifles were made with the Border Patrol Museum and Memorial Library Foundation in El Paso, Texas. Details come from Henry Repeating Arms's press release.
What Was Announced
Henry is offering four U.S. Border Patrol 100th Anniversary Tribute Edition rifles. Two are built on the Golden Boy platform in .22 S/L/LR, and two are built on the Big Boy Brass in .357 Magnum/.38 Special. The .357 Magnum/.38 Special chambering is a nod to the revolvers Border Patrol agents once widely carried. Each platform comes in two designs: one with the Department of Justice badge used before the agency's 2003 restructuring, and one with the badge Customs and Border Protection issues today.
