EMERGENCY AMMUNITION STORAGE
Ammo has a shelf life measured in decades when stored correctly. Build your reserve during normal times when prices are stable. Panic-buying after an event means paying double.

STORAGE RULES
▸Keep humidity under 60% — use desiccant packets or a dehumidifier rod
▸Store off concrete floors (moisture wicking) — use wooden pallets or shelving
▸Temperature stability matters more than specific temperature — avoid attic storage
▸Ammo has a shelf life of 10+ years when stored properly
▸FIFO rotation: mark every purchase with date, use oldest first
▸Avoid storing near solvents or chemicals — propellant can absorb odors
LEGAL: No federal limit on civilian ammunition stockpiles. Some states restrict certain types (AP, incendiary). California, New Jersey, Illinois have specific magazine and ammo restrictions — know your state law.
